Wife and I finished a 2 day wedding event at the Castle. An absolute jem with a rich history. Amazing building, well manicured grounds and fantastic view towards water. Comfortable rooms greet you with an older era vibe and staff does well at accommodating your needs. Short distance to Cold Spring Harbor which was a great destination for clothes shopping, gifts and coffee bars/food delights.

Went to a wedding here recently. Venue was spectacular! It was a beautiful day, everyone had an unforgettable time. Staff and service were great. Shout out especially to Giselle, she was wonderful. Highlight of the night. Give her whatever she needs Oheka

Great for a date. Loved the scenery. The grounds was beautiful. I see why people like to get married here, perfect setting. Food was good also, service was great too.

We had a really wonderful stay at Oheka Castle. We had already booked at a great price, and then were unexpectedly upgraded to an amazing suite in the castle, which made the experience feel even more special. The property is absolutely stunning, the grounds and gardens are immaculate, and everything is kept beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable, the suite was spacious, and housekeeping was excellent. Wandering the halls and grounds at night was one of the best parts of the trip. There are just a few details that could be improved. It can be easy to get lost when you first arrive, and I wish there had been clearer information about tours, breakfast, and where to find coffee or tea. We were surprised there was no complimentary coffee or tea station anywhere on the property. Dinner service was great and the food was good, but overpriced in our opinion, while breakfast was definitely the weakest part of the stay. Also, if there is a wedding going on, expect some shared spaces to be busier and less available. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay. The beauty, atmosphere, and unique experience of staying in the castle made it well worth it.

The castle is impeccably maintained, and learning about its fascinating history made the visit even more memorable. Every room is filled with elegance and charm, and the grounds are perfect for a relaxing stroll or taking beautiful photos. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a unique place to visit, OHEKA Castle is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend taking a guided tour to fully appreciate the rich history and remarkable restoration of this iconic landmark.

I chose OHEKA Castle for birthday cocktails with my closest friends, and it was the perfect way to start the celebration. The property is absolutely breathtaking. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world. The architecture, gardens, and overall atmosphere make it such a beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion. A special thank you to Kate, our bartender, for making the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. Her recommendations were great, the cocktails were fantastic, and she added such a fun, genuine touch to the afternoon.

Didn’t stay at the hotel, but went for the tour and restaurant. Tour guide was excellent, very friendly, and informative. Her name was Vicky I think. Was interesting to hear the countless movies filmed at this palace. And the fact that some of these walls are 2 feet thick. Insane! The restaurant also had a great atmosphere. It was busy, of course, in the afternoon, but the waiters were kind and polite. I got the Eggs Benedict for brunch and it was delicious. The chocolate torte afterwards for dessert was also very sweet but worth it. For $38, the price isn’t too bad for such a luxurious looking place. Overall, this place is genuinely perfect for visiting and taking pictures. People here are so nice. This guy standing by the valet parking even offered to take a picture of me and my friends - and it turned out great!! 100% recommend for people who like mansions, history, good food, and just experiencing a wealthy lifestyle lol.
